We make countless decisions during the day. According to some sources, we make an average of 35,000 conscious and unconscious decisions during an average day.  

Some decisions require a thoughtful, measured approach. But most decisions are made in the moment, with very little thought about their larger implications. These snap decisions, or “time traps,” can have a surprising impact on productivity, stress, finances and happiness.
